The Virginia Tech Korean American Student Association (VTKASA) presents their 2024 Culture Show titled "Festival of Lies: A Murder Mystery" on Saturday, April 27, 2024 inside Burruss Auditorium on the campus of Virginia Tech. The KASA Culture Show is a multicultural display of dancing, acting, and other art forms designed to provide a unique experience for Virginia Tech students seeking immersion in Korean performance culture. Through modern and traditional pieces, students and audience members can get a glimpse of Korean history and growth. The "Festival of Lies" script revolves around a cultural festival where a mysterious murder takes place. As attendees indulge in festivities, they become entangled in a web of deception, betrayal, and hidden motives. The plot follows the investigation led by a determined protagonist who unravels clues, uncovers secrets, and exposes the truth behind the murder. Amidst the vibrant backdrop of the festival, the characters navigate through twists and turns, ultimately revealing the unexpected culprit behind the heinous crime. Admission is free and all are welcome. Doors open at 5:30 PM and the show starts at 6:00 PM. The Virginia Tech Korean Student Association is an organization that fosters new and incoming Korean students with the existing Korean community at Virginia Tech.
